The Microsoft SQL server should be downloaded directly from Microsoft.

The location of the current version of the SQL Server can easily be found using a search engine.

This is a problem in a user of MainBossis required to use an older version of Windows or Windows Server that cannot run the current version of the SQL Server.

We have supplied links to older copies of SQL Server Express downloads, since the older version of the SQL Server Express can be hard to find at Microsoft.

SQL Server Express 2017 both 32 and 64 bit

SQL Server Express 2016 both 32 and 64 bit

SQL Server Express 2014 64 bit systems

Windows 7 can not run versions of SQL server that are newer than SQL Server 2012. You should update your system to Windows 10 or newer.
