Application: Man Hours 1
This applies to water filters installed in secondary water systems for heating
and cooling systems. These filters may be either a disposable cartridge type
filter or a washable and reusable filter media.
Special Instructions:
1. Notify affected personnel of outage.
2. Secure and tag filter inlet and outlet valves.
Items to Check & Initial Completion:
1. ___ Drain water from filter housing.
2. ___ Remove cover from filter housing.
3. ___ Remove spring, "O" rings, etc., and old filter.
4. ___ Clean and flush filter housing.
5. ___ Clean filter media, if applicable.
6. ___ Install filter media or cartridge.
7. ___ Replace springs and "O" rings.
8. ___ Replace housing cover.
9. ___ Open inlet and outlet valves.
10.___ Check housing cover for leaks.
Tools & Materials:
1. Standard Tool Kit
2. Filter cartridge or media, if applicable.
3. Gaskets or "O" rings, as applicable.
