New in MainBoss Basic 2.9

MainBoss Basic 2.9 contains numerous enhancements over previous releases of the software. Here are just some of the new features you'll find in the new MainBoss CMMS.

• A new "Overdue Work Order" report listing open jobs that are past their completion date.
• Many data fields have been increased in size to allow for longer identification codes and descriptions. Because of this, several reports have been reformatted to allow for longer data values.
• Work request handling has been improved. For example, there's now a separate menu for operations related to work requests.
• Inventory item records now contain a "Comments" field which can hold miscellaneous information not covered by other fields in the record.
• For greater security, MainBoss Basic 2.9 uses license keys to record the terms of your licenses on MainBoss products. If you're a new customer, you'll receive an appropriate set of license keys when you license a software package; if you've already licensed a package, you'll receive keys according to the terms of any support plans for which you're registered. This means you don't have to worry about what you are or aren't licensed for—MainBoss keeps track for you.
