When I press the F1 function key, nothing happens.
Why don't I see the online help?
If you have a Microsoft keyboard, you may find that pressing F1 doesn't bring up
MainBoss's online help.
The short-term fix for this is to press the F-lock key so that F-key functionality is enabled.
After that, F1 should work as MainBoss expects.
In the long term, we recommend that you download full keyboard drivers from Microsoft.
Go to Microsoft's web site and search on the model-name for
your keyboard.
(This name is given on the under-side of the keyboard.)
Choose the page that lets you download drivers for the keyboard.
Once you've downloaded and installed the keyboard driver, the F1
key should work as expected whether or not the F-lock is on.
